just doing the paint onto the last coat and
Image
disaster struck :o
major paint reaction biting on the top coat popping up all over it . I was not happy at all
Image
all the work on the body down the drain
[imghttps://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfa1/v/t1.0-9/1501705_10204997026139863_8532858340844817727_n.jpg?oh=72a4007913a05a674163f8a8792f070e&oe=558DE4BB&__gda__=1430798640_1351cce36132b444c4ec120e0bb49f32][/img]
nothing to do bar strip it back and start again . turned out to be the clear coat from the teal colour had chemically reacted to the solvents in the house of kolor paint . so I stripped the bad areas back re did any bits of bodywork that needed redoing and the gave the whole car a coat of epoxy primer and went for attempt number 2

happy to say attempt number 2 went well

well I had to put a bit of metal flake in the body didn't I with all that flake on the chassis :D
Image
Image
I picked up a 32 style dash for it that could accomodate the new gauges as the old dash only had room for 3 of the so-cal gauges

I gave that a generous coat of metal flake as well :D
