Well after a disastrous year what with back problems and car problems,it is now to start to get it together again.
I have replaced the micky mouse hardboard dash with a new one made of a 4mm laminate of ally and plastic and have fitted new switches to go with the complete new vehicle wiring.

Hi there.
After a long drama with back problems, have at last got round to working on the car.
Now the main saga was with the rear disc brakes not working,i was under the impression it was a Dana 44 axle
but it seem that was not the case, but looks like a early jag spicer axle, still do not know what the calipers are off,
but have found a company in Long Eaton that do nothing but brake calipers,so they have got them for a full refurb
plus they give 2 year warranty.
Pic below is a before as i got them off the car.

Jeezy peeps, I have no idea what they're off. Would it not be better to ditch the axle and get Hauser to do you a fresh 9"?

I agree to a point. In my opinion, you'd be better saving money by not having those callipers done and get a decent set or new axle. In my experience of trying to do things on the cheap it costs more in the long run.

Hi, i did not know at the time i was going this way,
but took some advice off a member of the rods n sods
as i did not have the way to try various calipers, are the cosworth
much different to the standard ones?

Looking at your pics I'd say they are pretty much the same.
