For those at you at OS-7 you will know that the main topic of discussion over the weekend was a certain orange hot rod and it's owners wish to make a few minor adjustments, well straight after OS-7 the 'minor adjustments began and this is the progress to date

First job is out with the old....

The phrase 'more wires than a NASA space shuttle springs to mind'

Here you can see the cage in all its naked whiteness inside the '32

The remains of the cage after a 'few tweeks'

This 'was' some of the floor of the '32

With the floor out it does make everything a bit more accessible

I'm sending pics to Mark as I cant' do the photo thing, and he is posting them for me, will update as I go.

Floor out, cage out, total weitht removed=387lb and not finished yet!

I know a floor and a cage has to go back in but the new ones will weigh less.

a moly cage in 4130 will be half the weight of CDS and ali has to be lighter than 3/4 ply!!

Wiring came out as its moving to another area in the car as are lots of stuff.

Spent a very enjoyable few hours at Peters last night, catching up and talking motors, Stu and Linda also popped in as I was 'in town' made me realise that we all really need to not live so bloody far apart as we could get up to all sorts of petrolhead mischief

Oh and I can officially confirm, YES Peter has totally and utterly lost the plot, for those of you who enjoy seeing the '32 run close your eyes and put that image into your memory as the '32 won't be seeing daylight much before 2015...
