Ok all here's the lowdown on Rye. Yes it is only 240 yards long... 1/8th in all... that gives 120yds Drag with 120yds run off. But it is a start. I never put this together to be anything but a bit of fun for the local lads. That said it's old school and usually a good laugh.

Now for the night before, Friday. I have arranged camping at a local campsite/ Rye Rugby Club. Your looking at £7 for campers or £5 for a tent. Also food will be available in the clubhouse on site, at a very reasonable rate, there is also a licensed bar!, ontop of this I have arranged for a bit of entertainment from Del Boys Disco, Paris, New York, Peckham !! I think anyone with a sense of humor will enjoy. In the morning breakfast can be bought at the Harbour cafe just past the race track they will be ready for you all. Hope this makes up for the small track. ;)

I know the track is small but never the less It's a starting point for this years Power Tour. The address is Rye Rugby Club
New Road
Rye TN31 7TE
My email is john-mm@live.co.uk for anyone wanting to book in advance. I will need to know numbers.

Not sure on our plans yet John. That weekend is my wifes 50th birthday so might have to spend the friday night with her. She's not overly happy with the fact that I shall be away all weekend as it is. We'll see.

Now entering the 4 weeks to go stage!!

Been getting emails left right and centre about rebuilds that are nearly there! Just managed to source someone a 302 motor after theirs kicked a rod, engine sourced in under an hour, a deal has been done and it's being picked up this weekend ready for some late nights!

Got to love it when a plan comes together!

If anyone needs any info or final details please don't hesitate to sling us an email ukpt@v8uk.co.uk and we will get back to you ASAP.

Getting exciting now that the trophies have arrived!!
