Distances an AA route master based travel times

Rye to Shakey - 193 miles 3hours 36mins

Shakey to York - 152 miles 3hours 23mins

As quite a few of those running hail from around my neck of the woods to give you a 'yard stick' of how the miles and time travel stacks up here's my mapping...

Friday
Ely to Rye - 152 miles - 2hours 57mins

Saturday
Rye to Shakey - 193 miles - 3hours 36mins

Sunday
Shakey to York - 152miles - 3hours 8mins

Monday
York to Ely - 144miles - 3hours 23mins

Total mileage - 640miles

Total travel time - 13hours

Key thing to take into account is these are just AA routes not 'look at the map' proper routes also probably need to double every travel time as it's a Bank Holiday weekend.

Correct me If i'm wrong but the timeline at tracks is this

Saturday Day - Rye tracktime

Saturday Afternoon - Road trip to Shakey

Saturday Eve - Shakey camp over

Sunday Day - Shakey tracktime

Sunday Afternoon - Road trip to York

Sunday Eve - York camp over

Monday Day - York track time

Monday Afternoon - Presentations

Monday Eve - Road trip home

Is that everyone else's interpretation?

This is what we thought, we have booked hotels now after toying with the idea of tow bars and the caravan and maybe a trailer.

We are going to travel light with the minimum of tools. Angela doesn't want to swap tyres at the track so that's more space in the back.

I know we've 13 cars entered which means 13 members, but who's taking co-pilots/passengers?

If each member going can let me know (reason being I'm going to see if I can get some discount entry deals for us all).....

No pasengers for Ang and I but my mate Paul is coming along in his 4th Gen Camaro. If I talk him into joining OS can he get the discount too 8-)

Andy if that's the SS one is it LT1 or LT4 powered? I've a 4th generation specific 383 rotating assembly brand new that could be up for grabs.

How are we all communicating on the drive?

CB's, Walkie Talkies or conference call?

or just hand gestures lol

I fancied digging out the old CB. I have a SWR meter if anyone needs a tune up hahah

Decent 2 ways work OK to a point, from doing long haul driving events in the past a list of everyone's mobiles is normally the quickest and best way for comms and support, easy to sort and print off a dozen copies...
