 Post subject: holley help

hi guys ive just striped me holley 650dp has base plate cracked and i was leaning out got a base plate on order so thats coverd me jets are.
jet with power thing are 67 the other is78 what size can i go up to next and can i fit the 78 jet in the 67 jet and up grad the one side or dont it work like that never striped a holley :-)

got to go too stages up on the jets so has any one got any jets they wont to sell :-)

best to get a jet pack that way you can experiment at the track until you get the best combo got mine from summit think it was around $50 plus delivery

bin on this web page and ive got primmary jets 67, secondrary jets 78, power valve 6.5 primary nozzle 28, secondary nozzle 28
but beens i leaned out may be because of cracked base plate lol,
do u think its worth buying a pair of 69 jets and a secondary nozzle 31 same as a holly 700 double pump :D

4778-3,4,5,6,7 700cfm

Primary main jets 69, Secondary main jets 78, Power valve 6.5, Primary Nozzle 28, Secondary Nozzle 31

Did you repair the baseplate or are we talking about another carb.

its a good starting point. as a rule of thumb i tend to go up or down no more than 2 jet sizes at a time that way your not making to much of a jump from your base line, that way you should make a difference but not go to far the wrong way . also keep a note of what you've tried and what differences its made . what sort of rpm are you shifting at/revving to as this has a big impact on what size carb you run verses engine size

brought another 650 double pump and tuke base plate off :D
