What's people's verdicts?

Looks far worse than just a head gasket to me...

It's a diesel peugeot van (or at least it was), an yes all of that oil is coming out of the rad expansion tank.

Sorry to say this mate but I think you've got a slight bit of lower crank case pressure pushing oil into the water ways. Maybe if you substitute the coolant for oil it'll just keep circulating it!!! Or maybe its scrap now.

Very common on the diesels,, they use oil to water coolers and they leak from the oil side to the water system,, does it run fine apart from that,,, can be a real bitch to get out

Yep it was running fine haven't run it since discovery due to oil loss

An the post mortem is in........ it's proper dead.. head gasket gone plus done a valve...

So a call to Steptoe An Son is needed as it's not an economical rebuild based on age an condition of the old girl...
