Newbie looking for some advice on tire selection. I'm considering a set of Hoosier QTPs, or ET Street S/S, or Street R, but should i get bias ply or radial??

I've heard that if you have a manual car you should get bias ply tires since they are easier on the driveline at launch and much less likely to break something. Its a daily driven manual car with only about 300hp so i'm not expecting to be doing 5000rpm drops. Just looking for something stickier than my cheap all seasons. Thanks in advance.
David
