Info from OS-51

1970 dodge charger 383 4bbl 4 speed manual with lsd diff - 201 made, engine replaced in the states with 1973 cast crank low comp 440 engine fitted with cast exhaust manifolds,so-cal valve covers, single plane intake with 750 vac sec carb and electronic ignition.never welded or really modified.body slightly knocked in places due to car port falling down around it while prev. owner just let it sit on drive for 3 yrs only going out to mot.

My wife dawn brought me the car as a suprize 40th birthday present in Oct 2010 since owning it ive fitted a.r.e torq thrust 7x15 front 8.5x15 rear with 245 and 275 bfgoodrigde tyres, made new exhaust system with x pipe and fitted hedman headers. ran 15.004 @ 90.68 at santa pod 14th may 2011 first time out.

So I've renewed the ht leads, plugs, oil and filter, monore adjustable air shocks on rear because of towing, mopar performance valve covers,4 point harness, autometer sport comp II tacho, headers wrapped and 10x15 torq thrust with 295/50x15 hooiser quick times for garys picnic and ran pb 14.09 @ 99.34. oh yeah and made a towbar which i towed our caravan to and from OS-3.

So far my PB reaction time is 0.014 and best 60ft is 2.144

My first runs as an OS member saw me damaged the flywheel, starter motor, wrecked the clutch plate, release bearing collasped and oil leaking from rear main and sump gasket

So i'm busy now fitting line lock, tci full manual reverse pattern comp auto box with tci street fighter 3-3.5k stall converter,b&m flex plate, trans cooler,b&m pro stick shifter once i,ve made a shiter mount, new starter and oil seals so i will miss OS-4 but should make it to nost.nationals at end of the month to test ready for 0S-5 @ mopar nationals.

Plans for the future??? cam, head skin and mild porting, 750 double pumper for this year.
