Woah there Rob mate, lets not get silly. I'm passionate about the cars, the series and the weekends but I'm not going to be brought in to some sort of opinionated argument. We are all working class people that put into our racing what we can. You are in a position whereby you and your wife share the same work and the same hobby so you live and breath the same thoughts and it means a lot to you as a family and am glad for you that you find it such an important part of your lives. Some of us have wives/partners that are not interested and, as such, we have to share our likes/dislikes so we don't always put winning first but just enjoy the participating but have other, more stressful, parts of our lives to concentrate on. I know I for one would love to have a fast race car in my garage but have other things that are more important in life. It is only a hobby after all so lets enjoy it without getting all stressed about a few misdemeanours.

Well bugger me, who'd have thought one typo would generate such conversation....

I'll turn the spellchecker off next time an maybe it'll fire a few others up to post......

Outlaw street is whatever YOU want it to be, some folk come to everymeet religiously some can only make it to 1 a year but are still as much a key part of the Outlaw family as everyone else.

We have a awesome collective mix of folk with petrol running through their veins, where else would you have a VW Camper, a '57 chevy, a MK 2 Escort and a new shape Mustang all racing together under the same flag....

In reality OS has grown year on year for the past five years with a real selection of cars and members joining the 'family', with this season being the largest in membership to date...

However, it's also oddly seen the lowest turn out of members in the past 5 years, there's 101 reasons for this including members having forced retirements from the season due to health, wealth, mechanical reasons, although all those in 'retirement' are plotting an planning comebacks in 2015.

Guess it's just been 'one of those years' for a he'll of a lot of folk.

There is one very obvious and clear reason for some it's felt a bit disjointed this season an its REALLY simple an obvious to me.....

With me on the missing list as well as my traditional right hand hand of Dave Pro67 an left hands of Roy n Dez there's been no 'base camp' together

If I had a pound for every member whose messaged me this season with a 'wish there'd been a basecamp' comment I'd have a steel bodied hemi powered '41 Willy's in the garage.

I don't see for the life of me why those attending can't sort camping all as a group once at a track seems the simplest thing on the planet to me.

Maybe you guys will pull it all together at OS-8 seeing as it looks like a lot of folk are aiming to get out for one proper blast before the winter hits.

We have the forum here for ALL members to use, so use it, post up what you're up to with your car, post photos of your upgrades, weekend racing or just post up a well done when someone wins a pot isn't hard is it, an at least you're then 'contributing' to Outlaw Street.

Updates while I'm on a roll....
Prize night venues booked, foods being sorted, you NEED to answer the thread if you're coming..

Shane Martin is working on the trophies, they're going to be beyond amazing

American Car magazine write ups are rolling out month on month in the mag

Next Year..............

Well after reading all that lot i have to say that rob only commented on a typing error. Dont no why this gives people the right to comment on our lives we also like everyone in life have other things to do which it seems by others we dnt  we are very blessed to have the same interests and not just cars but for 20years they have been a big part of our lives our choice love the outlaw street series but chill out time is needed for everyone so hope it is a bit better presented next year as in the form of more racers out running

I haven't meant to upset anyones feelings as that's the last thing I would want to do. I also don't delve into peoples private lives and as what they do is up to them. I also don't pull people up for making a simple mistake , especially those that spend their whole life flat out working till the wee hours nearly everyday of their lives.
The initial comment seems to have been blown out of all proportion. Lets forget it all happened and get back to a happy family again.

As i've said it's been 'one of those years' for a lot of members who traditionally race at every round which has impacted on numbers, but another factor is this is the first year we ran 'B' rounds meaning instead of the normal 7-8 rounds per year there's been 10 rounds which has also 'spread the pack out' meaning less folk per meet but more meets in the year.

Although this was done after debates/requests from fwd members who then didn't race....
