Well it's the Saturday before the first meet, which means only one thing..... the sandbagging will soon begin...

The 'oh no I've done nothing to the car this winter'

The 'I'm still waiting on parts'

The 'not sure it'll pass it's mot in time' comments

What these really mean are..

'I sold my soul to Santa an Satan and have been throwing parts at the car all winter'

'I've already got every part ever made but I NEED more'

'it passed the MOT ages again it's now on its 5th rolling road tune up'

Sandbag Saturday hahaha love it.

I've got a long story about how little I've managed to do on the Chevy.

If I don't get this temporary engine built and installed then I may have to limp there on a motor that's not 100% but we'll see.

Ok so still got lots to do for robs truck mot it's booked Tuesday pm so far we have no working lights! No washers engine has run but we have been no faster than 2 mph. My car has been moved next door so I can concentrate on the truck. It already has an mot but has only been to 20 mph and the trans is slipping. Oh and the motor hasn't been tuned yet. Is that enough excuses?

MOT is Friday morning morning, so I shall be busy today making sure it should pass. Only got the engine started yesterday late afternoon after the top-end rebuild. Need to tune the triple carbs which is a bit like herding cats!
