As most of you already know Mickey Thompson dropped the ET Street range (which an awful lot of members use on their cars) last year and have replaced it with the ET Street S/S range.

As stocks of the ET Streets have now all finished, it's clear that Mickey Thompson have greatly reduced the range of tyre sizes that have always traditionally been available in ET Streets, which from the texts, emails and calls I've received already about this is clearly causing people a problem.

I've looked into whether Mickey Thompson will be expanding the tyre size range in the ET S/S replacements and they've confirmed they have no plans to do so for the foreseeable future.

Mickey Thompson are now marketing threre tyre types to replace the sizes that they were on offer with the MT ET Streets of old. These being the MT ET Street S/S and the MT ET Street Radial Pro and the MT Street R.

I've looked at all three versions of these tyres and although the Street Radial Pro has a reduced tread pattern from the ET Street of old I am going to allow these tyres in Outlaw Street as it is a radial tyre & DOT approved still and not a full racing slick.

I'm aware that quite a few members are struggling with what to do at present with tyres for this season as the sizes they ran in the ET Streets are no longer available via Mickey Thompson or Hoosier, hopefully this will give a solution for all.

I may need to get some 3553 P255/60R15 27X10.50R15, bit wide but may need taller sticky tyres later on.
