Welcome to Outlaw Street, if you fancy joining but have some questions please email us at outlawstreet@hotmail.co.uk

If once you've joined you've got questions about anything relating to the Series, the venues, drag racing then please post here, we're not all as old as 'Nevermind' ;) but collectively there's probably over a 100 years experience of playing with cars in the 1/4 mile.

Do you need a helmet and a roll cage to race at these tracks?

if your vehicle reaches 100mph in the quarter your required to wear a crash helmet, most cages you see are not cages they are part of the chassis and serve to strengthen the structure of the vehicle and to aid traction as well as to protect you.dont know the performance of your vehicle but even if it runs 15s at 80 mph its still better to be safe than sorry after all there is no where to go but a wall if the worst does happen and you do only get the one head ;)
