The issue about making sure I can get home is a no brainer. Someone on this forum will always be willing to trailer , or tow a broken members car home for them!!!!!

There's a wealth (OK maybe more of a splattering) of knowledge within the series so feel free to ask any questions here in regards to the 'art' of drag racing, tweaking engines, NOS etc....

Most members on the forum have over the years learnt the hard way themselves so avoid the credit card meltdowns and ask away.....

OK we seem to have. 3 seperate threads running all about tyres for Ross, can we try and keep the questions in one thread guys as it's getting a tad confusing.

Ross, in answer to your question and whether you can run Hoosier Drag Radials, the answer is no, they are a competition non street trye which if you look on the sidewall has stamped NOT for Highway use, thus isn't a 'street tyre'

To give a simple answer to this:

IF a tyre has stamped on it 'Not for Highways' or is listed on the M/T, Hoosier sites under competition only, then its a NO, as these are no more than cut slicks.

IF a tyre is listed under their street/highway use sections and/or is called a Street tyre, re ET Streets, ect then these are fine.
